Terms of Service

1. Who you are agreeing with

RouteFix is operated by SK Sidratul Islam Priyo and Shihab Mohammad Humayan, two individuals based in Saskatchewan, Canada. In these terms, RouteFix, we, and us mean those operators. You means the person using the service.

2. Accepting these terms

These terms are a binding agreement. You accept them when you confirm your acceptance in the app or when you create an account, whichever happens first. If you do not accept them, do not use RouteFix.

We keep a record of when your account accepted these terms and which version it accepted.

3. You must be 18 or older

RouteFix is for adults. By using it you confirm you are at least 18 years old. RouteFix can suggest venues that are age restricted, including bars, pubs, and nightclubs, which is one of the reasons for this limit. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it and delete its data.

4. What RouteFix does

RouteFix helps you build a trip plan, and then runs alongside you on your travel day. It compares your saved plan against your device clock, shows you where you are, and when you fall behind it offers options to rescue the rest of the day.

It does not use GPS and does not track your location. It knows only what you saved and what time it is.

5. What RouteFix does not do

• It does not book, reserve, rebook, cancel, or pay for anything.
• It does not connect to airlines, hotels, ticketing systems, or booking platforms on your behalf.
• It does not hold your money and it takes no payment details.
• It is not a travel agency, a tour operator, or a travel insurer.

Any booking in your plan is one you made yourself, directly with that provider, under their terms. Your rights over that booking are with them, not with us.

6. Nothing changes without your choice

When RouteFix works out that you are behind schedule, it shows you options. It does not apply anything on its own. You choose, or you do nothing and your plan stays as it is.

7. Places, venues, and nightlife

RouteFix suggests real places using public map data, mainly OpenStreetMap. Depending on the interests you select, those suggestions can include restaurants, attractions, hotels, and age-restricted venues such as bars, pubs, and nightclubs. Nightlife is an optional interest you choose for yourself. It is never added unless you ask for it.

A place appearing in RouteFix is not a recommendation, an endorsement, or a statement that it is suitable, safe, open, or right for you. We list what public data says exists.

We do not verify, and you should not assume we have checked, any of the following:

• Whether a venue is still open, still trading, or at that address.
• Its opening hours, prices, licensing, or entry policy.
• Its age restrictions, dress code, or accessibility.
• Its safety, quality, or reputation.

Venues set their own rules and can refuse entry for any reason they are allowed to. You are responsible for obeying the law where you are, including the legal drinking age, which differs between countries and between Canadian provinces. You are responsible for your own safety and your own decisions about where to go.

8. Estimates and accuracy

RouteFix uses real data where a free and reliable source exists, including real places, real road routes, real weather forecasts, and real airline schedules. Where no such source exists, RouteFix estimates. Visit durations, activity and hotel costs, flight prices, and how busy a place may be are estimates, and they are labelled as estimates wherever you see them.

Real data can still be wrong, out of date, or incomplete, and external services can be unavailable. RouteFix does not guarantee that any place, time, route, price, duration, forecast, or schedule is accurate or current.

Check anything that matters. Do not rely on RouteFix alone for a flight, a connection, a booking, or anything else you cannot afford to miss.

9. Your account

• Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep it current.
• Your account is for you. Do not share your login.
• Keep your sign-in details secure, and tell us at support@routefix.net if you think someone else has access.
• You are responsible for what happens through your account.

10. How you may not use RouteFix

• Do not use it for anything unlawful, or to plan anything unlawful.
• Do not scrape, bulk-download, or resell the data in it.
• Do not attempt to break, overload, or bypass the security of the service, or to reach data that is not yours.
• Do not use automated systems to hammer the service or to get around usage limits.
• Do not copy, reverse engineer, or build a competing service out of it.
• Do not upload anything unlawful, abusive, or infringing into your trip content.

11. Third-party data

RouteFix uses data from OpenStreetMap, Wikidata, Wikipedia, Wikimedia Commons, Open-Meteo, OpenRouteService, AviationStack, and other providers. That data belongs to them and is used under their licences. Place data from OpenStreetMap is used under the Open Database License and is credited to © OpenStreetMap contributors.

We are not responsible for the accuracy of third-party data, and their availability is outside our control.

12. What belongs to whom

The trips you create are yours. You keep them, and you can delete them. You give us permission to store and process that content only so we can run the service for you.

RouteFix itself, including the name, the software, and the design, belongs to us. These terms do not give you any ownership of it.

13. Price

RouteFix is free to use during early access. We may introduce paid plans later. If we do, we will tell you first, and no existing feature you are already using will start charging you without notice and a choice.

14. Availability

RouteFix is an early-stage service run by one person. We do not promise it will be available, uninterrupted, or error free, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it. We will try to give notice of anything significant.

15. Provided as is

To the fullest extent the law allows, RouteFix is provided as is and as available, with no warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. That includes any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranties to be excluded. Where that is the case, this section applies to you only as far as the law permits, and it does not remove any consumer right you have that cannot be waived.

16. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost opportunity, arising from your use of RouteFix.

We are specifically not liable for missed flights, missed connections, missed bookings, cancellation charges, wasted expenditure, closed or unsuitable venues, refused entry, disrupted travel, or anything that happens to you while travelling, whether or not RouteFix played a part in your plan.

Where we are found liable despite the above, our total liability to you for all claims is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty Canadian dollars.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

17. Your responsibilities

• Your travel decisions are yours.
• The plan you enter is only as accurate as what you put in it.
• RouteFix is a planning aid, not a substitute for your own judgement.
• Do not use it for time-critical travel without a backup.
• Check visas, entry rules, insurance, health advice, and local laws yourself.

18. Indemnity

If someone brings a claim against us because of how you used RouteFix, because you broke these terms, or because you broke the law, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and legal costs arising from it.

19. Ending your use

You can stop using RouteFix at any time. You can delete your account yourself from the You screen, under Your data. It takes effect immediately and cannot be undone. The Privacy Policy lists exactly what is removed.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that puts the service or other users at risk, or where we are required to by law.

20. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version date at the top will change, and we will tell you in the app when a change is significant. Continuing to use RouteFix after that means you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the service and ask us to delete your account.

21. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Saskatchewan and the laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of Saskatchewan have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, and you agree to that. If you are a consumer somewhere whose law gives you the right to bring a claim locally, this does not take that right away.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
